Embodiment With Isha
You are not a car, and I am not a mechanic…
Physiotherapy for women who are done with band-aid solutions — and ready to actually listen to what their body has been trying to say.
Come Home to Your Body
It’s not all in your head. Your pain is real. And chances are, your relationship to it is complicated.
You've gotten good at walling it off — showing up as the best mother, partner, friend, daughter you can be. But somewhere in the middle of all of that, you got left behind.
What is your body actually asking for? What would it feel like to slow down and listen — really listen — instead of pushing through?
At Embodiment with Isha, we don't just treat the injury. We piece together the puzzle of you. That means your tissue and biomechanics, yes — but also your sleep, your diet, your movement, the rhythms and flow of your day. We tend to the garden of who you are, so the parts that need support can actually grow.
And as “woo-woo” as that might sound, we have evidence in the literature that this is exactly how our human selves heal best.
This isn't about patching you up and sending you on your way. It's about climbing out of survival mode and building a foundation strong enough that you won't need constant band-aid solutions. Think of it less like a repair job, and more like finally padding your savings account.
That space exists. And you deserve to be in it.
Where do we begin…
Whether you're in acute pain, navigating something complex, or simply ready to build a stronger relationship with your body — there's a place for you here.

Kind Words
About me and this practice
It’s common to feel dismissed and unheard in the current medical model, and if that feel relatable, you have my condolences.
My journey into physiotherapy began because of the disappointments I witnessed when my mother needed to navigate the system to get answers and healing following accidents and injury. Ultimately the person who helped her the most was a personal trainer. Alongside her, I began my weightlifting and martial arts journey while engaging in the contemplative practices of yoga and meditation to manage my mental health challenges.
These experiences were the foundations for the framework I developed for my practice: That adequate time to be heard and understood, space to breath, wind down the nervous system, and challenge limiting beliefs, and the truly amazing medicinal power of exercise was an understated path to healing.
With a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto, advanced certifications in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy from leading experts, and training in both medical therapeutic yoga and traditional Hatha Yoga in the Himalayan foothills, I have a unique blend of bridging the “science” with the “spirituality.” My work is grounded in evidence based practices, but it also offers space to explore the deeper aspects of being and healing.
Our experiences, our emotions and our beliefs play a role in the pain and function in our bodies. When we make space to simply “exist” in our body, an opportunity emerges to allow for a deeper breath, an unclenched jaw and shoulders that detach from our ears.
This isn’t mysticism, it’s nervous system healing; it’s Embodied healing. Let’s dive in together.
